A Million Metres by bike in 12 days by 4 regular guys raising money for The Children With Cancer Fund in Polegate.

Thursday 3rd of July Wave goodbye to everyone near and dear and hopefully an army of supporters. Travel down to Cornwall and get some rest.

Friday 4th of July The beginning! arrive at Land's End for the starters pistol, taking care to sign the end to end book and have some photos taken while we are there, then off we go, target today is Camelford and we plan to get there via the north Cornwall coastline. Very hilly by all accounts so a tough day ahead, but we should at least be fresh.

Saturday 5th of July Leave Camelford bright and early and skirt the top edge of Dartmoor passing Okehampton and ending the day in Willand just north of Cullompton on the M5

Sunday 6th of July Looking forward to the first flat day of the ride heading out across the Somerset marshes then swinging up north past Cheddar, and heading towards Avonmouth and over the M5 Bridge (there is a cycle path) then across the Severn via the M48 which is the old river Severn crossing, to end the day in Chepstow
